Akicita thinks he saw something

[19:24]  Tahlos Darkfold's eye narrowed, as he thought he spotted movement in the darkness. Silent on his perch...

[19:25]  Tempeste Braveheart kept her eyes lit before her on the path, making sure she hit the right way into the caves. She'd learned a fair amount that day of the land, having used the maze of caves to escape to freedom

[19:26]  Tahlos Darkfold would soon shake his head and clear his mind. Perhaps the constant battles of late had clouded it, allowing himself to mistake common game as a human threat.

[19:29]  Tempeste Braveheart clutched at the small furs she'd found on the ground near her cave earlier, probably dropped by some poor soul who'd been attacked while she and her sister had watched. She patted her items and then turned back towards the falls, deciding that she might find a few more fallen items if she were lucky. Flame stayed close to the shadow though, having seen many scouts earlier coming and going along the paths

[19:33]  Tahlos Darkfold had then come to a crouch on the broken log. High he was, able to see over the tops of the trees that had grown right below his position. His clothing the colors of the land, it would be difficult to spot him right off without a keenly trained eye. He was one to check the paths on a regular basis, perhaps it was his repressed fear of the Kurii finding him before he did them. Perhaps a mere scout doing his duty to counter enemy scouts throughout the lands surrounding the Laager. The past days had proven interesting, as there was sign of movement nearby. Still unable to come to a conclusion on the matter...

[19:36]  Tempeste Braveheart shouts: slipped with a subtle movement along the path, the woman who had once been a well bred Lady or so she had thought, had the bearings of a wild woman, it was a relief to her she had taken so easily to the life of the woods, though this place was unwelcomingly cold. Her amber eyes drifted about the path and she kept her ears perked to catch any strange sounds she might encounter, but it was at that moment her eyes lit on the cave she'd seen earlier. Quietly and sure of foot she headed into the beckoning darkness, making sure to stay close to the inner walls

[19:40]  Tahlos Darkfold remained on his perch. His eye scanning as it seemed the sun was on it's way up... easier to see. Although he had a well trained eye for moving around at night. It was enough to set him...... somewhat at ease. Not seeing anything out of the ordinary from his position. he would soon retire to his wagon though, morning had come and soon his duties would take him to far off lands. Rest was in order... His eye would follow the swoop of a bird as it descended on what may have been it's helpless prey in the distance. He took this as a sign, those who inhabited the lands being the bird of prey. Those coming with violence on the mind, the prey.

[19:44]  Tempeste Braveheart looked into the cave, her bow moved to her back before she reached for her dagger, unsheathing the blade with a soft sound. Her dark hand clutched at the wall as her eyes narrowed to scout the entrance. Flame began to back up silently, her booted feet making hardly a noise, it was too dark and only a fool would slink blindly into the large cavern. She instead let her tired and wary body slide down to rest on the harsh cool ground for a few minutes before she'd move back towards her caves, the morning would be spent catching some much needed sleep, but for now she closed her eyes a moment, her nostrils flaring to take in the scent of her new surroundings, learning them with every bit of her hearing, sense of smell and sight.
